Finally, there will be a debut album by Max Cooper this year, March 10th. This is the first single from it, Adrift, with long running vocal collaborator Kathrin deBoer. We can't wait that long Max!

In the end of 2010 I was checking out some end of year charts by several people. This remix by Max Cooper kept coming back in many charts, so I was giving this one a listen. I never heard of Max Cooper till then. My oh my, I don't know wat happened that day, immediately I feltin love with the track. Now three years later, Max Cooper is one of my favourite artists and I still love this remix very much... Check out the unofficial youtube video someone has made to accompany the track! www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Tr1LfBtRlk
Frahm's beautiful, clever piano melodies are a perfect match for Cooper's emotional, distinctive breed of production, blurring lines between the recital hall and the dance floor. Max's own words: 'Nils Frahm is one of the best artists out there in my opinion, with pretty much the best live show I've ever seen. But aside from all that, this was just a really enjoyable remix to work on because the original is such a great piece of music, and seemingly so well suited to what I wanted to do with it - which was to try and turn Nils' instrumental jam on his Juno, into something house/techno/club/44 compatible, but still carrying the class and feeling of the original. It was one of those remixes that just seemed to fit and flow easily, with minimum strain and maximum enjoyment on my part - usually a good sign for a remix (the one's that have to be forced never seem to quite get there).'
